Required Ingredients

  • Fresher Jhatpat Nihari Gravy 1 Packet
  • Chicken, Mutton or Beef Shanks 350g


       Garnish Plate:

  • Green Coriander, chopped
  • Mint Leaves, chopped
  • Green Chili, sliced
  • Fresh Ginger, julienne
  • Fried Onion
  • Lemon Wedges

Steps of Cooking

  • Pour 1/4 of the gravy and meat in a cooking pot and cook on medium heat for 2 ~ 3 minutes.
  • Add water, about 4 cups (800ml) for beef and mutton & 2 cups (400ml) for chicken. Cover properly on low heat and stir from time to time.
  • When meat is tender, remove lid and reduce excess water by cooking. Add remaining gravy and cook for 3 ~ 4 minutes on medium heat.
  • Reduce heat to low and cover for 4 ~ 5 minutes, cook until desired thickness and oil separates from gravy.
  • Serve hot with khamiri roti and garnish plate.
